Consuming two ounces of wheatgrass juice is equivalent to the nutrition derived from five pounds of high-quality vegetables!

Quantity: 100 g

Description: This wheatgrass seed is packaged for microgreens and can be harvested as many as 3 times. Microgreens are vegetable, cereal or other grains, in which the seeds are sown densely into a container and harvested just after germination and once the true leaves begin to emerge. Microgreens are nutritionally dense compared to their full-grown counterparts and have flavours that range from mild to sweet to spicy. Wheatgrass is rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, E, C, K, and B6. It can be a great source of iron, calcium, selenium, and magnesium. How to Use? Wheatgrass from microgreens is generally grinded into a liquid shot or dried and processed into a powder form. Cutting a few blades of fresh wheatgrass and putting it into you morning smoothies is a great way to get the extra benefits of wheatgrass.

Instructions:

1. Use any shallow container to grow greens but this pack will be enough for one 1020 gardening tray. If you have a plant pot that meets these measurements, Great! If not, no special container is necessary, try using an old, plastic butter container or maybe an old food container.

2. Fill the container with a good quality, well-draining soil to about 1/2" to 1" of soil. If you are concerned about overwatering, bore holes in the base of the container with an ice pick. Hydrate the soil fully.

3. Soak the seeds overnight and then evenly spread the seeds over the surface of the soil. Cover the seeds with an old newspaper and moisten the top of the newspaper.

4. Monitor and mist daily to ensure that seeds remain moist. Once shoots begin to emerge, at about 4 days, remove the newspaper and place the container on a sunny window sill until harvest.

5. Wheatgrass will continue to grow after cutting so enjoy at least 3 cuttings.
