Description: Daikon is a white radish that can be eaten raw or cooked. When eaten raw, Daikons are spicy, crisp, and zesty but with a milder flavour than red radishes. Cooking radishes bring out the sweetness and milds the spicyness.

Growing Conditions: Full sun to partial shade, ensure consistent moisture levels & keep weeds down

Planting Distance: Sow seeds 2" apart, set in rows 6" apart.

Harvest: Harvest promptly to maintain good texture of the radishes. When plants reach the desired size, use garden fork to lift plant out of soil

 

Succession Planting: For a continuous supply, sow new seeds every 2 weeks
