Description: Rosa Bianca is an Italian, heirloom variety with pink to violet and white streaks. The fruit is large and round at 5" - 7" diameter. The flavour is mild and very creamy.

How to Use?:
- Marinate in herbs and grill
- Make a melongene and parmesan cheese casserole
- Stuff with sauteed veges and bake
- Make a Melongene Choka or try Baba Ganoush , a middle eastern dip
- Try Ratatouille, a French dish made up of tomato, zucchini and Eggplant slices

Soil Type : Fertile, well-draining soil with a pH of 6.2 - 6.8. NB: Be careful of nitrogen toxicity. Too much nitrogen may result in a large, bushy plant that may appear healthy but bear only a few fruit bodies.
Growing Conditions: Full sun. Prune plant to encourage growth and staking may be necessary to keep the fruit upright.

Planting Distance: Sow 3 - 5 seeds per cell or direct plant 18" apart in rows 30" - 36" apart.
