Life Cycle: Perennial
Soil Type: Light, well-draining, gravelly soil with a pH of 6.5 - 8.3.
Growing Conditions: Full sun. Monitor plants in the rainy season to ensure that they are not getting too much water & move container to areas with sun but less exposure to rainfall.
Planting Depth: Plant at 1/8" deep Days to Germination: Germinates in 14 - 21 days
Planting Distance: Sow seeds in cells or flats and allow the plant to become established, about 8 - 10 weeks before transplanting. If planting into the earth, space seedlings 12" - 18" in rows set 24" � 36" apart. However, lavender may thrive better in containers in areas with high rainfall. Seeds require light for germination & direct seeding is not recommended.

Harvest: For Fresh Use: Cut fresh flower buds as needed
For Dried Use: Cut lavender stems on a dry, sunny day just as the flowers are about to open. Hang them to dry in a low humidity, well-ventilated space out of direct sunlight. When dry, shake dried flower buds from stem and store in an air-tight glass jar.
Succession Planting: For a continuous supply, sow new seeds every year.
