Soil Type: Carrots prefer loamy-sandy soils that is well drained, deep and loose with a pH of 6.0 – 6.8
Growing Conditions: Raised beds are recommended for carrots to minimize soil compaction. Full sun and consistent moisture levels are essential. Heat stress will cause this carrot to elongate.
Planting Depth: Plant at 1/2” deep
Days to Germination: Germinates in 14 - 21 days.
Planting Distance: For Transplanting: Sow 2 – 3 seeds per cell and transplant to rows 16” – 24” apart.
For Direct Planting: Plant 30 seeds per foot & set rows 16" – 24” apart. Thin to 1 plant every ¾” to 2” depending on root size desired. Add thinned plants to salads.

Harvest: Use a garden fork to lift the entire plant out of the ground in order to loosen root area.
